Supercars championship leader Will Brown has been given provisional pole for the opening race of the Adelaide 500 after qualifying was suspended due to multiple crashes

The session saw three drivers - including Kiwi Richie Stanaway - all crash at the infamous turn 8 sweeper.

With qualifying unable to restart, Brown was declared the provisional pole-sitter ahead of this afternoon's top ten shootout.
