Joss Stone's newly adopted baby boy is "too vulnerable" to leave home because he was born prematurely

The singer and her husband Cody DaLuz have adopted six-week-old baby Bear, but she's now revealed the tot has problems with his lungs and doctors have warned them not to take him out anywhere

In a video posted on Instagram, Joss was seen sitting in her car with Bear and saying: "I am sat in the car with him because he is so little that he can't go out because he was so premature his lungs are a little bit vulnerable.

"I'm just here with little man hanging out."

Joss went on to reveal she was told not to take Bear out but she still had to take him to a doctor's appointment.

The pop star added: "At the hospital they said: 'Don't take him out anywhere'. But shortly after they said but make a doctor's appointment and I thought: 'Hang on you just told me not to take him out as his lungs are too vulnerable but you want me to bring him to the doctors where there are all these germs and stuff?'"

Joss - who is also mum to Violet, three, and two-year old Shackleton with Cody - added of her new baby: "OMG he is so cute. Sorry if I look a bit bedraggled. The deal is we are in newborn phase again and he is fed every three hours so I am on the night shift. I am always on the night shift anyway because of our toddlers.

"I am on the night shift, feed him every three and then Cody comes in the morning and takes him at about 6am and I get to sleep."

Joss revealed she met Bear when he was a month old and she's also been in contact with his birth mother.

She said: "His birth mum came to see us and she was so sweet. She's such a lovely girl and she loves him too.

"It's just really nice to have that connection with her and I know it is going to be really nice for Bear."

Joss previously revealed they decided to adopt their third child because Cody himself was adopted in early childhood.

Announcing her new arrival in a post on Instagram, Joss wrote: "Happy mummy Mondays . This is what happened to us last Monday. We can not quite believe it.

"We are in love big time with this little guy. The reason why Cody even exists is because his bio mum loved him enough to make an adoption plan for him and the same goes for Bear."
