Jonathan Bennett doesn't decorate for Christmas

The 43-year-old actor has become a staple on the Hallmark network during their holiday season and after hosting 'Finding Mr. Christmas' on the station, admitted that he is usually too burnt out by Christmas comes around to celebrate in style at home

He told UsWeekly: "I'm going to be honest, I don't decorate for Christmas. By the time Christmas gets here [this year], I [will] have shot 'Finding Mr. Christmas', 'Christmas on Cherry Lane', a sequel to another Christmas movie I can't talk about and a Christmas movie for next year.

"I've been covered in tinsel for six months of the year!

"This year I'm just going to not decorate because I can't.

    "Just can't do it."

Prior to finding regular success in festive television films, Jonathan became known for starring as high school heartthrob Aaron Samuels in 'Mean Girls' opposite Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried.

In April, he took to social media to mark the 20th anniversary of the premiere.

Alongside a photo of himself and his on-screen love interest Lindsay, he wrote on Instagram: "20 years ago today, the world met Aaron, Cady, Gretchen, Karen, Regina, Janis, Damien, Kevin G, Shane and Ms Norbury for the first time when Mean Girls premiered at the Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles, California on April 19, 2004.

"20 years ago today my life was changed forever. I can't tell you how proud I am to be part of a story that, still to this day, makes so many people happy. It's been one of the biggest gifts of my career and life."
