Home building activity appears to be stabilising

Stats NZ has released figures on the number of building consents issued for new homes.

Consents in the year to November are down 12-percent on the previous 12 months.

They're down 34-percent on the peak of May 2022.

But it's been trending up slightly, over the past year.
