Lala Kent's baby daughter was "really struggling to breathe" due to the wildfires in Los Angeles

The 'Vanderpump Rules' star has decided to leave the city until it is "safe" again because the poor air quality was affecting her four-month-old daughter Sosa.

Lala - who also has Ocean, three, with ex-fiance Randall Emmett - wrote on her Instagram Story: "This morning Sosa woke up and was really struggling to breathe. I made the decision to pack my family up and come to Palm Springs, strictly based on the air quality. This is where we will stay until LA is safe again

"This is one of the most devastating situations I have ever seen."

The 34-year-old beauty admitted her heart is "shattered" for those who have been directly impacted by the fires.

She wrote: "At this point, if you were not directly affected, you know someone who has lost everything. I'm obsessing over how we could be so underprepared.

"My heart is shattered for my community.

"Neighborhoods that people have called home for decades, now nonexistent. It is unimaginable.

"We have not been directly affected and I am grateful for that - it's hard because of what I'm seeing other people go through."

Lala went on to express her anger around additional factors making the situation worse.

She wrote: " In times like this all you want is to go home for comfort, and 1,000s of people don't have their safe place anymore.

"There are looters, lack of water, and lack of preparation.

"I'm sad, but I'm angry... I'll save that rant for a later date."

In a second Story, Lala expressed her gratitude to the firefighters working to contain the situation.

She continued: "For now, all I want to do is say thank you to our firefighters and first responders. Our city's heroes.

"And to everyone affected - I know you feel alone. You are not alone."
