Teddy Swims' girlfriend has helped ease his nightmares

The 'Lose Control' hitmaker has struggled with his sleep for a long time but Raiche Wright - who is pregnant with their first child - has been "really helpful" in offering practical advice and suggestions and helping him to calm down

Explaining how his single 'Bad Dreams' was inspired by Raiche's ability to calm him at night, he told People magazine: "I wake up sometimes every 30 minutes, and she's been so wonderful and such a holistic person about, 'Here, take some magnesium or take some of this and that.'

"And it has just really helped me turn my... Calming my little... I guess, regulating my little nervous system."

The couple were first romantically linked after being spotted together at a Grammy Awards party in February 2024 and in May, Raiche joined Teddy on tour.

The 32-year-old musician admitted it is very helpful to date a fellow singer.

Confirming their romance on 'The Kyle and Jackie O Show' in July 2024, he said: "She does what I do, which is great.

"Because it's like maybe 3 am and I'm calling her and she's like 'Yeah, yeah I'm in a session. I'm recording vocals.' And I'm like, 'Girl, yeah, handle your business, baby.'"

The 'Door' singer recently admitted he couldn't be happier with his life right now.

He told People in November: "I'm in love and I'm happy. Everything's just where it needs to be."

And Teddy teased his upcoming new album, 'I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2)' will feature more than just songs about heartbreak.

He said: "There's always going to be heartbreak and a little bit of everything, but it's not just only heartbreak this time around. There's songs to make love to, and there's songs to cry to."

Elsewhere, Teddy admitted he knew the moment they wrapped on 'Lose Control' that it would transform his life.

He told NME of the viral tune: "When we wrote it, that was the first time that I ever felt in my heart that 'this song is gonna change my life'.

"I knew that the song was going to be what it was and I had never felt that way before about anything I did."
