    A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries - after a house fire in Auckland's Orakei


    Emergency services were called to the blaze around 9.45am.

    A second person was treated at the scene, for injuries.

    Firefighters have since suppressed the fire, and the situation's being monitored.
