Fishing company Sanford says its moves to boost productivity are to thank, for doubling it's half year profit to 34 million dollars

It's the seafood group's best numbers in a decade.

Managing Director David Mair says he's been trying to review each part of the business to find efficiencies.

He says in businesses, people often argue about things like the living wage, but believes increased pay needs to be matched with increased productivity.
