    Police are seeking information over a 77-year-old man's death north of Kaikohe at Horeke, last Wednesday


    Daniel Hepehi - nicknamed Danny Whinston - was found with critical injuries at an address on Waikerikeri Road.

    Police want to hear about any interactions with him in Kaikohe on Wednesday morning - and any information on a green and gold 4-wheel drive SUV - number plate L-C-P-1-2-9.

    Police aren't looking for anyone in connection with the homicide.
