Kiwi driver Shane van Gisbergen hopes to put NASCAR further onto the world map after securing pole position for the inaugural Mexico City race

The Mexican event is the first points race outside of the USA since 1958 - and NASCAR have held exhibition races in Canada, Australia and Japan since.
Van Gisbergen says further international expansion would be awesome.
