    A man accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl insists he thought she was 19-years-old


    Shegu Charles Bobb is before a jury trial in the ACT Supreme Court in Canberra for alleged offences in 2020.

    ABC reports the 27-year-old met the girl on a dating platform called Badoo when he was 21.

    During cross examination, Bobb claims he didn't know the girl was lying about her age.
