Black Caps allrounder Michael Bracewell will replace the injured Glenn Phillips for the first test against Zimbabwe

Black Caps allrounder Michael Bracewell will replace the injured Glenn Phillips for the first test against Zimbabwe

Bracewell wasn't initially considered due to his commitments with The Hundred tournament in the UK.

New Zealand coach Rob Walter says Bracewell is a strong, like-for-like replacement for Phillips.

The 34-year-old will depart Zimbabwe after the first test to join the Southern Brave ahead of their first game.
