A number of New Zealand board directors say they're unhappy with their workload and pay

The Institute of Directors reports the median fee for non-executive directors has increased by 7.4 percent to more than 53 thousand dollars but pay satisfaction levels have declined.
In the survey, respondents top concerns were time commitment and increased workload.
Governance Leadership Centre's Guy Beatson says rapidly changing issues are making the role much more demanding.
He says you've got to be across cyber security, changing immigration settings, climate change, AI and alike.
