After Eru Kapa-Kingi claimed the Party has a dictatorship style of decision-making - it emailed members documents containing allegations he'd threatened Parliamentary staff.
It also alleged his mother Te Pati Maori MP Mariameno Kapa-Kingi, was in danger of overspending her office budget.
MP Takuta Ferris told the Post his electorate wasn't aware the email was going to members - and it was sent without consensus.
Mariameno Kapa-Kingi also re-shared a social media post, criticising the Party's decision to email members.
