Brodie Kostecki has pocketed a 50 thousand dollar bonus for winning a weather-affected opening race at the Supercars grand final in Adelaide

Kostecki was in front when the race was red-flagged after 21 of 32 laps due to heavy rain.

One of four drivers still in the running for the championship - Chaz Mostert finished second to close the gap to overall leader Broc Feeney to 13 points.

Feeney faded to fourth after starting from pole position.

Kiwi driver Ryan Wood completed the podium, but isn't in contention for the overall title.
