Beth Hamilton will use the Piha Pro as her return to international surfing

Beth Hamilton will use the Piha Pro as her return to international surfing

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The World Surf League qualifying series event will be held on Auckland's West Coast in March.

The WSL has announced Hamilton as the recipient of the international wildcard.

The Hawaiian surfer will be seeded into the second round of the Challenger Series event and hopes to use the opportunity as a springboard for Championship Tour qualification in 2021.

Hamilton's had time away from competing while focussing on her feature film 'Unstoppable', which tells her life story of never giving up the dream to be a professional surfer, after having her left arm bitten off in a shark attack in 2003.
