The Breakers have stunned with a statement win over Brisbane to open their Australian NBL basketball season

After being winless in pre-season, the Breakers have ambushed the Bullets 91-87, with big man Sam Mennenga netting 22 points and Parker Jackson-Cartwright piling on 20 points and delivering 11 assists.

Coach Petteri Koponen says it's important to show they can win when it counts.
