Melbourne will contest Nelson Asofa-Solomona's careless high tackle charge at the judiciary tonight - after he was sin binned in the opening minute of Friday's win over the Roosters.

The New Zealand prop clocked Lindsay Collins high - ruling him out for the remainder of the contest.

Should the Storm fail to have the charge dismissed or downgraded - Asofa-Solomona's ban is likely to extend through into next month's Pacific Championships for the Kiwis.
