King Charles has used his annual King Speech to urge people to listen to each other

King Charles has used his annual King Speech to urge people to listen to each other

His 2024 message, had an emphasis on healthcare workers this year, as he receives treatment for cancer.

The monarch also acknowledged the devastating effects of conflict, pointing to ongoing war in the Middle East, Ukraine and parts of Africa.

The King shared the lessons he learnt, from his recent visit to the South Pacific and Australia.

He says diversity of culture, ethnicity and faith leads to strength, not weakness.
