    Search crews remain at Piha Beach amid efforts to save a fisherman


    Police say a man of Asian descent fell into the water from rocks at the beach before 2 this afternoon.

    Surf Live Saving says a member of the public saw the man in distress in the water, and they're working with Piha Search and Rescue and the Police Eagle Helicopter to locate him.
