The Football Ferns have received a huge boost with a former age-grade representative committing to play for New Zealand at senior level

Midfielder Maya Hahn has made herself available, after switching allegiances back from Germany where her father is from, and is in line to be called up for next month's two Football Ferns matches against Costa Rica.

The now 23-year-old was a member of the New Zealand under 17s squad which won bronze at the 2018 World Cup.

Hahn currently plays for Turbine Potsdam in the German women's-Bundesliga.
