    A man's in custody after an altercation - which police believe involved neighbours left three people with critical and serious injuries in South Auckland last night


    A neighbour told our newsroom they heard screaming when they arrived home from work and they saw a person fleeing with a knife.
    Hato Hone St John says ambulances were quickly dispatched - with the injured taken to hospital.

    The suspect escaped the scene in a car but was found by the Police Eagle helicopter a short time later on Takanini School Road.
