Christchurch Police have concerns for the welfare of a woman who's been missing since Wednesday last week

50-year-old Rochelle Tabak -- also known as Rochelle Fleming -- left her home address at midday on April 16, and was last seen in Addington an hour later.

She told a friend she was going to the bank.

Police say she was wearing a black jacket, black track pants, with black and white shoes, and has maroon coloured hair.

Anyone with information is urged to report it to Police.
