The Central Pulse have given their ANZ Premiership playoff hopes a major boost with a 65-44 victory over the Northern Stars in Wellington

They sit outright third, three points ahead of the Southern Steel ... who play the Northern Mystics tomorrow in Auckland.

Pulse and Silver Ferns defender Parris Mason was wheeled off the court in the second quarter with what looks to be a neck injury.
