A breakout international campaign has led to seamer Bree Illing's maiden inclusion in the White Ferns one-day cricket World Cup squad for India and Sri Lanka

The 21-year-old is one of four yet to feature at past tournaments.

Illing, spinning all-rounder Flora Devonshire, batter Bella James and wicketkeeper Polly Inglis have a combined eight caps in the 50-over format.

Illing took four wickets in her international debut series against Sri Lanka in March, followed by seven for New Zealand A in a June series against their England counterparts.

Coach Ben Sawyer welcomes her skill set.
