Ariana Grande has hit out at Donald Trump supporters on social media

The One Last Time singer has asked those who voted for Trump as to whether they feel better off eight months into the US President's second term in the White House.

In an Instagram Story reposted from podcaster Matt Bernstein's account, Ariana said: "It's been 250 days.

"Now that immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed, now that trans people have been blamed for virtually everything and live in fear, now that free speech is on the brink of collapse for us all - has your life gotten better?"

The post went on: "Have your groceries gotten cheaper? Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved? Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier? Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?"

Ariana - who voted for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in last year's presidential election - had previously urged her fans to "reject" Trump after he officially announced his bid to return to office in 2022 as she listed several controversies that he has been involved in.

The 32-year-old star shared a post to her Instagram Story that read: "Reminder: Donald Trump is the only President in the history of the United States to have been impeached twice. Trump is also in the middle of a series of investigations and lawsuits in several states across the country... He is currently under federal investigation for removing classified material from the White House upon leaving office.

"He is also under investigation in New York State in two separate cases- one civil and one criminal- involving fraud committed by the Trump Organization. In Georgia he is under investigation for his role in attempting to overturn the 2020 election results.

"And, if all of that isn't enough, Trump just last week sued the House committee investigating the January 6th attack on the US Capitol to avoid cooperating with a subpoena requiring him to testify."

The Wicked actress then shared a stark call urging the public not to support Trump.

A second shared post from @so.informed read: "The hatred, violence, and total political upheaval that was a product of the Donald Trump presidency still festers in this nation. We do not need another four years of the intentional chaos that this man sows for personal gain.

"Reject him with everything you have."
