Allison Holker and her young family celebrated late husband Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' heavenly 43rd birthday by doing some of his "favourite things"

The dancer tragically died by suicide aged 40 in December 2022, and his 37-year-old widow has shared how she and their children - Maddox, nine, and five-year-old Zaia, as well as tWitch's 17-year-old daughter Weslie from a previous relationship - marked what would have been his birthday on Monday (29.09.25) by feasting on his favourite food and visiting the comic book store.

Alongside a series of snaps from their day, Allison penned on Instagram: "Happy heavenly birthday Stephen. We love you and still feel all your love. We celebrated by doing some of your favorite things Korean BBQ, Comic book store and cookies and cream.

"Sending you all our love and support and appreciate yours."

Allison previously said she "will always" celebrate her late spouse, but she can't "celebrate so much of" the choices he made, particularly those that will have a lasting impact on their children.

Speaking on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, earlier this year, she said: "That's a really fine line I have to walk as a mother right now ... because [the kids] are very hurt by their father's decision.

"And they have a lot of triggers that they have to be in therapy now to really work through."

However, Allison praised her kids for managing to find "joy in life" again, though she knows they will still be processing their dad's death for the rest of their lives.

She said: "But what I am impressed with is that they are doing the work, and they are putting in the time, and they are finding joy in life, and they are finding laughter again.

"But there's a lot to unpack for them that they'll have to deal with for the rest of their lives."

Allison was discussing tWitch's ayahuasca trip that completely changed him.

She believes his decision to consume the plant-based psychedelic had a major impact on him, telling the host: "I think it was a very big turning point for him. I feel like his heart was never really in the same place when he came back. There was something missing in his eyes.

"It just kind of feels like he opened something up to himself that he never healed. And never fully escaped."
