Two people have been arrested at the Picton ferry terminal after one was found in possession of methamphetamine

Two people have been arrested at the Picton ferry terminal after one was found in possession of methamphetamine

Police say a 70-year-old was disembarking the ferry yesterday and was found to have an ounce of meth - worth up to seven-thousand dollars.

He is facing 13 charges related to the supply of meth and cannabis.

A 50-year-old woman was also arrested and was charged with supplying meth.

Both are due in Blenheim District Court in late November.
