    Three men arrested and gun recovered in alleged Christchurch drive-by shooting

    Three men have been arrested and a gun used in an alleged drive-by shooting in Christchurch has been recovered - but police are still looking for witnesses


    Police were called to a report of a man with a gunshot wound - near Hereford Street in Linwood - around 2 yesterday afternoon.

    The victim was taken to Christchurch Hospital with critical injuries - and is now in stable condition.

    Officers arrested two 27-year-olds and a 25-year-old - who'll appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow.

    They say the gun involved has been recovered.

    Police want any witnesses who haven't spoken to them - to come forward.
