Police were called to Stratford High School in Taranaki after a crash between two vehicles in a carpark, sparked a fight near a rugby game

It's understood two groups of people, including some gang links were involved.

Witnesses have reported some of the participants were believed to be teenagers, and were holding weapons including a knife and a bottle.

But the fight didn't interrupt the game, and a Police spokeswoman says there were no reported injuries.
