    Chad Townsend will move from the Cowboys to the Roosters on a one-year deal next NRL league season

    The decision follows five-eighth Luke Keary's decision to retire at the end of the current campaign.

    Townsend won a premiership with the Sharks in 2016 and has had two spells at the Warriors since debuting in 2011.
