    Police believe an Australian tourist missing from Tongariro may now be in the South Island


    67 year old Elizabeth Wielga was last seen checking out of her accommodation and didn't return when she was due to.

    It's now understood she travelled to Wellington and intends to go to Picton.

    Her family are concerned and Police urge anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.
