Another entry in Kane Williamson's hall of pain

Another entry in Kane Williamson's hall of pain

A groin niggle will delay his departure with the New Zealand cricket squad for the three-test series against India.

He has been rehabilitating since suffering discomfort during the second match against Sri Lanka, but is expected to play at some point.

Uncapped batter Mark Chapman will join as interim cover for the first match starting in Bengaluru a week today.

All-rounder Michael Bracewell will also travel for that fixture before returning home to attend the birth of his second child - he'll be replaced by Ish Sodhi.
