    He's made 60 for Northern Districts as part of 268 against Auckland in Hamilton, his first match since recovering from a groin injury - the visitors are 24 without loss.

    Canterbury are 17 without loss in reply to Central Districts' 202 in Nelson - Will O'Rourke returned figures of one for 42 from 14 overs.

    Wellington are 339 for six against Otago in Dunedin - Nick Kelly is 154 not out.
