A forecast drop in beef production's thought to be a positive for exporters

A forecast drop in beef production's thought to be a positive for exporters

A RaboResearch agribusiness report suggests production will reduce by six percent, but pricing should improve from the smaller herds.

The country's beef cattle numbers are predicted to stabilise and potentially even rise into 2026.

Greg Smith from Devon Funds Management says it's a global trend, with production in the US, China, and Brazil also slowing.
