    Firefighters have contained a grass fire in Hunua, southeast of Auckland

    Firefighters have contained a grass fire in Hunua, southeast of Auckland


    Fire and Emergency received reports of the fire on Skyhigh Road at 3 this afternoon.

    12 fire engines and 2 helicopters were deployed.

    Crews are now working to dampen down remaining hot spots.
