A number of changes to New Zealand employment law are possible

An income threshold of 180-thousand-dollars could be introduced for employees claiming personal grievances for unjustified dismissals.

It means they're no longer able to raise such a claim.

The Government's also announced further changes to remove or reduce remedies for employees when they are at fault in disputes.

Employment Hero's Sanam Salmani says this is positive for smaller employers.

She says it gives employers more confidence during disputes, by increasing accountability.
