    KILL

    KILL

A member of the Head Hunters gang living in luxury overseas was greeted by Police when he tried to return to New Zealand earlier this week.

Our newsroom can reveal Police have been investigating the gang boss for several years and were seeking extradition for him to stand trial.

Photos on social media show the gang member, living in Dubai, driving expensive cars and enjoying holidays with his family and friends.

The man in his 30s flew back to New Zealand for a funeral and was arrested by police waiting at the Auckland International Airport.

He appeared in court on Wednesday facing several charges including supplying methamphetamine, which carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
