    Warriors utility Kurt Capewell is poised for a State Of Origin recall with Queensland

    Capewell has been told to stay in Australia by Maroons officials, after the Warriors' big NRL win over the Sharks.

    He missed the game one defeat but has become the beneficiary of coach Billy Slater wielding the axe.

    Daly Cherry-Evans is set to become the first State of Origin captain dropped mid-series since the 1990s with Tom Dearden to take this place at halfback.

    The side is expected to be named either late tonight or tomorrow.
