A solar panel wholesaler believes the government's new power policies are a win for all

A solar panel wholesaler believes the government's new power policies are a win for all

The Energy and Building Minister's announced an expansion of the current, legally permitted range of electricity networks, which will increase people's ability to store power and send extra back to the grid.

As an incentive - new homes with solar panels will have building consent fast tracked to 10-working days, down from 20.

Taspac Managing Director, Dwayne Cocker, says they'll see a knock-on effect.

He says it'll be easier for his customers - electricians and installers - to win more jobs, which means he'll be able to distribute more panels.
