    Venus Williams has announced a return to grand slam tennis


    The 45-year-old has been listed among the the mixed doubles pairings for next month's US Open at Flushing Meadows.

    She last played professionally at the 2024 Miami Open.

    Williams will mark her return to the court at the Washington Open this week.
