Investigations are continuing into Marokopa fugitive Tom Phillips - but key details will remain suppressed for now

Phillips was shot dead by Police in rural Waikato on Monday - and his children are now in state care.

The High Court granted an urgent injunction on Monday evening, blocking media, police and Oranga Tamariki from sharing certain information.

It's today been extended in the High Court at Wellington, until at least next Thursday.

Police have continued an examination of Phillips' campsites deep in the bush today, and are expected to finish up tomorrow.

His body's now been returned to his family.
