Francesca Eastwood has announced the birth of her second child

She captioned them: "Day one", before adding over one of the images: "Well, we had a wild night."

The monochrome photographs showed Francesca cradling her baby shortly after giving birth, though she did not reveal the child's name or gender.

Her post marks Francesca's first public update since revealing her pregnancy earlier this year.

Francesca, who first became a mother in 2018 with the birth of her son Titan, shares the six-year-old with her partner, actor Alexander Wraith.

The couple's latest arrival comes nearly a year after Francesca faced legal trouble following an alleged domestic incident.

According to TMZ, Francesca was arrested in Beverly Hills on 12 October 2024 on suspicion of felony domestic violence after a reported altercation with a boyfriend turned physical.

Police were called when the man, whose identity was not disclosed, contacted authorities and was instructed to meet officers at the Beverly Hills Police Department's Safety Zone.

The outlet reported the man showed visible injuries upon arrival, leading to Francesca's arrest and booking on felony charges. She was later released on $50,000 bail.

Sources told TMZ the man declined medical treatment and refused to cooperate with investigators, which ultimately led prosecutors to drop the case.

It was not confirmed whether Alexander was the alleged victim.

Alexander, who has a 14-year-old son named Trajan from a previous marriage to Lili Gaildraud, separated from his wife in 2015.

Francesca's parents, Clint and Frances, were together from 1990 to 1995 but never married.

She remains their only child together.

Clint, one of Hollywood's most acclaimed directors, has been married twice - first to Maggie Johnson, whom he wed in 1953 before their divorce in 1984, and later to broadcaster Dina Ruiz in 1996.

The couple, who divorced in 2014, have daughter, Morgan, now 28.

He is also father to actor Scott Eastwood, 39, whose mother is Jacelyn Reeves, a former flight attendant.

Clint and Jacelyn never married.

Francesca, who has appeared in films including True Crime and M.F.A., has largely kept her private life out of the spotlight in recent years.
