The mother of Tom Phillips' children has joined legal proceedings, around the suppression of key case details

Phillips was killed in a police shoot out on September 8th, four years after he abducted his three young kids and hid with them in the Waikato bush.

Their mum Catherine Christey's been made party to the injunction proceedings - originally brought by Phillips' own mother Julia.

Lawyers for the media are pushing for the injunction to be lifted.

But at today's hearing Justice Helen Cull has again suppressed arguments heard in court, and no changes to the injunction are expected at this stage.
