    Students are being encouraged to "persist" as they compete for summer jobs


    There's been a sharp increase in demand year on year, with 13 percent more applications year on year in November.

    Chief Executive of Student Job Search Louise Saviker says the job market is recovering.

    She says there were four-thousand 200 jobs available in November, up 15 percent on last year.
