Mixed reviews on the new digital curriculum being implemented next year

Mixed reviews on the new digital curriculum being implemented next year

From January, it will be compulsory for Kiwi schools to teach digital technologies to year one to 10 students.

But the ERO says some schools aren't prepared to introduce the programme.

AUT senior lecturer Dr Mahsa Mohaghegh says some teachers are ready and excited - while others are sceptical and unprepared.

She says next year will be a transitional period while schools become familiar with the curriculum.
