    Three people have been injured after police say a car was driven into a crowd in Auckland


    A 24-year-old has been charged with injuring with intent following the incident in Ponsonby around 10 last night.

    Police allege the man got into a vehicle, hitting three people with the car before crashing into a pole.

    One person has moderate to serious injuries - another two were treated in hospital and have since been discharged.

    The man is due to appear in court later this week.
