The Government's looking at assigning teens aged 14 to 17 with multiple serious offences - the label of Young Serious Offender.
The youths can also be sent to military style academies, subjected to increased monitoring, or arrested with warrant for breaching bail.
Children's Minister Karen Chhour says while the Government can't make Judges use their power, it can send the message the public have had enough.
She says they're sick of the crime going on and the victims suffering in our communities.
