Aucklanders wanting to know their property's value will have to wait a little while longer

The council will be delaying the release of Capital Values from the end of this year, until early next year.

It's because the Office of the Valuer General requested additional work be done, so they could be more accurate.

CVs are used to set rates and are a useful tool for those selling and buying properties.

Values are expected to take a dip this year, OneRoof reports Auckland's average property value fell four percent since 2021.
