Rihanna says motherhood has changed the way she dresses

The 36-year-old singer has two sons, two-year-old RZA and 14-month-old Riot, with A$AP Rocky, and she admits she has ditched more glamourous outfits for cosy clothes so she can parent in comfort

She told PEOPLE magazine at her Savage X Fenty Lavish Lace Collection Preview at Nordstrom in Los Angeles: "[I wear] Anything that's cosy, anything that's stretchy, anything that's easy to bend down and pick my kids up in. Those are the things I look for.

"Things that don't scratch me, don't scratch them. We've got a lot of work to do in a day of a life of a mom."

At the event, the 'Fenty Beauty' founder also shared her rules on wearing lingerie as outerwear.

She said: "Lingerie to me should be worn any way and anywhere that you want. Whether you want it to be seen on display outside of T-shirts, inside a jacket falling off, or just to be cosy or just to have a little support."

She added: "It's the small things. Take my makeup off at night. These are just little things that mean a lot. It feels like self-care and it feels good."

A$AP Rocky recently spoke about the couple's two kids, revealing that RZA has inherited Rihanna's forehead.

He told W magazine: "I think RZA is going to keep to himself. He's an introvert.

"Riot's an extrovert - he's just like his mom.

"RZA is more so like his dad, like me. And he's my twin. He got his mom's forehead, but he got everything else from me."

Referring to the lyric '"Ain't nothing better than the pretty, big forehead b****" from his 2015 track 'Jukebox Joints', he added: "I love my boy's big forehead! I loved it on his mother. Listen to 'Jukebox Joints.'?"
